During the Rodecaster demo, Grace, Makenna, Cassidy and I all dived in deep. Getting to learn about the equipment was fun, and a lot easier than it looked. To play around with the system and get some knowledge on how to use it, Professor Stafford has us make a podcast. She gave us the prompt to talk within each other for 5 minuetes about a topic of whatever we choose! We choose to talk about Ruby Frankie and the 8 passengers. They were a mormon family who were famous on YouTube. All of us watched them grow up, however, Ruby abused her children and a documentary just came out giving all of the old viewers some closure of what we didn’t know was happening behind closed doors. We ended up talking for 12 mins, I felt like I was on the canceled podcast. Overall, I really enjoyed this class and getting to play around the rode-caster. I plan to try and set up a time to go into the studio and use this recording device on future podcast!
