Above is a podcast that describes what goes through my mind while at cheer in a form of a list. I struggled with understanding this assignment at first, but after listening to my peers I felt like I got the hang of it! There was no specific prompt other than it being 1 minute long, and, as stated above, in the form of a list. I enjoyed being able to be creative and share some thoughts that go through cheerleaders heads. Something that I struggled with was how short the time specifications were. I felt like I could have talked for another 10 minuets. There is quite a lot that happens within our two hour practice, but I tried to pull out some key points that I thought were important to share in the audio. In GarageBand, I incorporated some background noise from freesounds.org! There wasn’t much editing to do for this assignment other than embedding my sounds, cutting them to the right length, and playing around with the volume levels.
